1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Relmory (the “App”), relmory.com and related Relmory product services. “Relmory”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the developer and operator of the Relmory product.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to zhaopeil@hotmail.com.
2. Adult audience
Relmory is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not design or market Relmory as a service for children or minors.
3. Relationship data stored on your device
Relmory is local-first. Core relationship content is designed to be stored primarily on the device where you use the App. Depending on the features you use, this can include person profiles and contact details you enter, Moments and notes, important dates, reminders, links, photos, short videos, voice notes, screenshots, and locally produced OCR or speech-to-text results.
This core relationship-memory content is not uploaded to Relmory servers merely because you create or edit it. If you deliberately include relationship content in a support email or another external service, that content is handled as part of that request or service instead.
4. Device permissions and local processing
Some features may ask for device permissions such as access to the camera, selected photos or files, microphone, or notifications. Relmory requests access when it is relevant to a feature you choose to use, and the operating system controls those permissions.
Where a feature is described as local or on-device — such as local OCR or local speech recognition — its purpose is to process that content on the device rather than send the underlying private relationship content to Relmory for cloud analysis.
5. Information used for product services
Relmory may process limited information on its servers when needed to operate non-relationship product services. The exact information depends on the feature and distribution channel you use.
- License, entitlement and purchase-verification information, such as product or plan, transaction or purchase identifiers, verification status and related timestamps.
- Activation and device-management information, such as installation or device-related identifiers or pseudonymous tokens, platform or app version, activation status and timestamps.
- Support and communication information, including your email address and the content you choose to send when you contact us.
- Client IP address, request identifiers and request timestamps used for rate limiting, service security, and audit records related to activation or device-management actions.
- Transactional email delivery information when a service email is sent, such as recipient address and delivery metadata.
6. How we use information
- Provide, maintain and secure Relmory and its related services.
- Verify purchases, licenses, Pro entitlements and device activations.
- Deliver app releases, product updates and transactional communications.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems.
- Prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized activation, and protect service reliability.
- Comply with legal, accounting or regulatory obligations where applicable.
7. Service providers and sharing
We share information only when it is reasonably necessary to operate a service you use, comply with law, or protect Relmory and its users. We do not sell your core relationship-memory data.
Depending on how you obtain or use Relmory, limited service data may be processed by the following types of providers:
- Apple App Store or Google Play for app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, refunds and store-managed transaction processing. Those providers also process information under their own privacy policies.
- Brevo for transactional email delivery when Relmory sends service-related email.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers used to operate relmory.com and related Relmory product services.
8. Data retention
Relationship-memory data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it through the App, remove the App, or your device or backup system otherwise removes or restores that data. Device backups are controlled by the operating system or backup provider and may follow separate retention rules.
Server-side license, purchase, entitlement, activation and related audit records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, restore purchases or entitlements, protect licensing and service security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable accounting or legal obligations. Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for support and record-keeping needs.
9. Your data controls
Your core relationship data is managed on your device. You can edit or delete people, Moments, reminders and related locally stored content directly in the App. Relmory does not maintain a central server copy of your core relationship database, so those local records do not require a server-side deletion request.
If you uninstall Relmory, data stored only inside the App’s local storage is removed with the App. Copies you exported, saved to shared device storage, shared with another service, or retained in an operating-system or device backup may remain separately and must be managed through the relevant device, backup or service controls.
You can change or revoke permissions such as camera, photos or files, microphone and notifications through your device settings. Revoking a permission may limit the related App feature but does not automatically delete content you previously chose to save.
Relmory may retain limited server-side operational information for licensing, purchase verification, activation, security and support. If you want to ask about, correct, or request deletion of eligible server-side personal information, contact zhaopeil@hotmail.com. We may need to verify the request before acting on it, and certain transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting or legal records may need to be retained where applicable law requires it.
10. Security
Relmory uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved, including access controls, secure transport for server communications, and security measures around licensing and activation services. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keeping your device, operating system and backups secure is also important.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or other controls over personal information that Relmory processes on its servers. You may contact us to exercise rights that apply to you.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Relmory changes, when service providers change, or when legal and platform requirements evolve. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated date. Material changes should be reflected in the App and store disclosures when required.
